Hot Summer of H.o.T NYC Festivals

It’s finally summer, which means there are countless events going on in NYC! Clear your calendars and make some time for the awesome festivals coming up. Here are the top NYC festivals Heart of Tea lists to do this H.o.T summer!

The 4th Annual Village Voice 4Knots Music Festival will take place on July 12th (rain or shine) at NYC’s legendary South Street Seaport from 1:00 to 8:00 pm. Here’s the best part: it’s free! The Village Voice has been involved in live music showcases for 14 years and is continuing its tradition with this festival. The headliners are Dinosaur Jr., Mac Demarco, and Those Darlings. Be sure to check it out!

The Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governors Island is something you have to try and check out.  I think the best flavor of Heart of Tea to enjoy during this one is “Classic”, because thats the type of party this will be!  An ode to the prohibition era, you could Charleston to Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra playing jazz staples, while donning your finest flapper garb, soot suits, and bottle of Heart of Tea.   The Jazz Age Lawn Party is August 16th and 17th, we’ll be sure to see you out there!

The West Indian-American Day Carnival is a must see in NYC.  A festival full of vibrancy, makes Heart of Tea the perfect drink for this event.  Monday, September 1st, make sure you make it out to Brooklyn to see the parade.  Full of exotic themes and great food, you won’t want to miss this!  For complete details, be sure to check out The West Indian-American Day Carnival website.

When you go to any of these festivals, don’t forget to bring a bottle of NYC’s best iced tea, Heart of Tea and send us pictures/videos on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram amidst all the fun!
